Innovative airport security control system

SIM FACTOR Sp. z o.o. in a consortium with the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, received EU funding from the National Center for Regional Research and Development under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020 for project: Development of an innovative training and training station for the airport security control operator.

The aim of the project is to increase the level of civil aviation security by developing an innovative method of training and assessing security control operators, eliminating the disadvantages of the current training methods.

The project will use modern IT and optoelectronic technologies, including artificial intelligence, technology of eye tracking and virtual reality. The result of the project will be the creation of a new method of training and assessment of security control operators performing the following tasks:

– checked baggage security control;
– hand luggage control;
– control of cargo and mail transported by air carriers;
– passenger control;
