SIM Factor simulator at LOTOS Kolej

December 5, 2019 saw the grand opening of the Train Drivers Training Centre at LOTOS Kolej which is the state-of-the-art centre of this kind in Pomerania region. The Centre has been equipped with the highest class full-range railway simulator. The device, which reflects the E6ACTa – Dragon 2 locomotive cabin, was supplied by SIM FACTOR.

The first simulator of Dragon 2 locomotive in Poland was launched on 26 November 2019. We would like to thank our partners for their support: Damiro – – Midura Group, Motion Systems and NEWAG S.A.

It is already the fifth full-range simulator on motion platform built by SIM FACTOR in 2019. By our cooperation with freight carriers we want to demonstrate that a simulator is an extremely useful tool. We are able to simulate various sizes and weights of trainsets, learn to drive with ETCS and even show the behaviour of a traction vehicle in dangerous situations. Of course, just like with each new project of SIM FACTOR, our library of routes has expanded to include new sections – welcome to Tricity ? Soon enough we will have more photos and we keep our fingers crossed for opening the new professional simulation training centre of LOTOS Kolej.
