VR training system for air cargo handling employees

SIM FACTOR Sp. z o.o. in a consortium with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, received funding from the National Center for Regional Research and Development under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020 for the implementation of the project entitled: Using the virtual reality environment in the training of air cargo handling employees.

The aim of the project is to develop and validate in real conditions an immersive system based on virtual reality (VR) focused on training of commercial operators working at airports in handling cargo shipments and luggage.

The proposed solution is dedicated to airports and is a response to the demand for VR-based interactive training indicated by IATA.

This is the third project implemented jointly by the consortium of SIM Factor and the Wrocław University of Technology, which is a model example of cooperation between the private and scientific sectors.
